Miura Systems Announce it’s M-Series Successfully Completes Required Testing for PCI PTS v3.x and UK CC Evaluations.

Miura Systems has today confirmed that its Mobile (M-Series) range of payment devices has successfully completed all the required evaluations to achieve PCI PTS 3.x approval.

The final approval will be granted by PCI SSC who accredited Brightsight to perform PCI PTS v3.x evaluations. Once an internal review of the required report is completed the full approval is expected to be confirmed. A separate report has also been sent to UK Cards Association for the UK CC approval.

The M-Series comprises three models, Bluetooth, GPRS and WiFi all of which are supplied in Miura’s unique, compact design - importantly featuring an integral printer. The Bluetooth product is specifically designed to work in conjunction with Mobile phones, Tablets and Smartphones to facilitate mobile payment solutions at very low cost. Did you know that over 100 new Tablet products are due to be launched in 2011? The Miura solution is independent of the device “footprint” making it potentially work with every Tablet, Phone or Smartphone on the market.

Ricky Garrido, Founding Director at Miura comments "This is another significant milestone for Miura which underscores its core competency of designing, developing and delivering secure, certified payment hardware. Completed in less than one year this is a great achievement for Miura’s UK based technical development team.

Featuring options for WiFi, GPRS and Bluetooth communications variants the M-Series punches well above its very light 275g weight. The lightest and smallest device on the market - welcome to the M-Series from Miura.

The M-Series was designed, developed and manufactured by 3form Design.
