The desk is more than just a workspace. Work is like our second home, so we want to make everything feel more comfortable and more productive. With all the research pointing toward the benefits of getting out of your chair, we were eager to give standing a shot.

We can honestly say that we love our standing desks. Tension, aches...or muscle spasm, sounds familiar? Constant sitting makes you want to stand up, doesn't it?
After a few days, thanks to 'sit or stand' method, aches were noticeably less, and our energy had definitely increased.
Normally after 20 minutes of sitting in the same position, your muscles will start to cramp and blood flow slows, leaving you feeling restless and uncomfortable. And your body burns just one calorie per minute when you’re sitting down - that’s less than chewing a piece of gum!
It's different when you standing up - humans burn an extra 60 calories per hour when standing. Over time, standing for just two hours a day can help lose up to 20 pounds per year.
It's not just standing - we know that the key is the movement between both sitting and standing.
Thanks to our new standing desks, we can adopt a regular 'stand and sit' routine to relieve stress on our spine and keep our cardiovascular system going strong, strengthen our muscles, and reduce the risk of spinal shrinkage.
Alternating positions relieves strain on individual body parts and relaxes your neck, shoulders and back. And we actually do feel relaxed.
