IV-eye Vein Scanner won!

17 July 2015

IV-eye Vein Scanner has won Medilink UK Healthcare Awards

The best of the UK's Life Sciences and Healthcare Technology sector have been honoured at the 2015 Medilink UK Awards.

It was an opportunity to celebrate the past year’s cutting edge technologies, outstanding business achievements and international success across the UK's Life Sciences sector.

The nominees were drawn from winners of regional awards across the UK, selected by panels from Medilink UK member organisations. Medilink UK, one of Great Britain’s largest healthcare technologies representative bodies, has seen tremendous strides made over the last year

Novarix’s clever IV-eye Vein Scanner was runner up in this year’s coveted Outstanding Achievement Award. IV-eye Vein is a portable infra-red vein imager that gives the clinician real-time imaging of a patient’s vascular structure.

3form Design designed, developed and manufactured the plastics for the IV eye Vein Scanner.

Our expertise in developing new manufacturing processes gave us full confidence to design. Multiple triple injection mouldings, the unique flexible wings, clever assembly methods, risk management; all part of the proposition.

As we designed the parts, we designed the tools too, so we knew the manufacturing would be robust.  We calculated and tested the forces with our high powered simulation software.

Clever use of materials and creative engineering has resulted in a neat, feature packed product. Easy to manufacture, easy to assemble too.
